Luna was ready for bed, but something was missing. Her favorite teddy bear, Mr. Cuddles, was nowhere to be found. Luna looked everywhere in her cozy room. "Oh no!" Luna cried, feeling worried. "I can't sleep without Mr. Cuddles!" Her family promised to help her search.
Luna began her search in the living room. She peeked under the couch but found only dust bunnies. "Where is Mr. Cuddles?" Luna asked, her voice a little sad. Her parents joined in, lifting cushions and checking behind the curtains. "Don't worry, Luna," they said. "We'll find him together."
In the kitchen, Luna searched high and low. She opened every cabinet, but Mr. Cuddles was not there. "This is so hard!" Luna sighed, her little face scrunched in concentration. Her parents checked the pantry, but it was empty of bears. "Maybe he's hiding," they suggested, trying to cheer her up.
Luna's excitement turned to tears. She sat on the floor, feeling like giving up. "I can't find him anywhere," Luna said sadly. Her parents sat down with her, offering hugs. "It's okay to feel upset," they said gently. Luna felt lost without her bear.
Suddenly, Luna remembered playing dress-up earlier. "Maybe Mr. Cuddles is still playing!" she exclaimed. Her parents smiled, seeing her hope return. They all rushed to the dress-up corner. "I think I see him!" Luna shouted with joy. Mr. Cuddles was wearing a tiny hat, hidden under a pile of costumes.
With Mr. Cuddles safely in her arms, Luna felt ready for bed. She snuggled under her blankets, feeling warm and happy. "Thank you for helping," Luna said, hugging her bear tightly. Her parents kissed her goodnight. "Sweet dreams, Luna," they whispered. Luna drifted to sleep, dreaming of new adventures.
