Mia loved to draw with her crayons. One sunny day, she found a box of magical crayons in her attic. The crayons could make her drawings come to life! But when she drew a picture of her friends, Jake and Lily, they got trapped inside the drawing. Mia knew she had to save them.
Mia tried to reach into the drawing to pull Jake and Lily out, but her hand just went through the paper. She felt scared and didn't know what to do. The first obstacle was figuring out how to communicate with her friends inside the drawing. Mia decided to draw a phone to talk to them.
The phone worked! But Mia's friends told her they were in a maze and couldn't find a way out. Mia drew a map, but the maze kept changing. She was frustrated and didn't know how to help. Then, it started to rain, and the drawing began to smudge. Mia cried out, feeling hopeless.
Mia sat down and thought about giving up. She felt like she had tried everything. - I can't do this, she said to herself. But then she remembered how much she cared about her friends. - I have to be brave, she decided. She wiped her tears and picked up the magical crayons again.
Suddenly, a little fairy appeared from one of the crayons. - You can do it, Mia! the fairy said. - Believe in yourself and draw with courage. Mia listened to the fairy and drew a magic key. The key glowed and opened a door in the maze. Jake and Lily saw the door and ran towards it.
Jake and Lily burst out of the drawing, safe and sound. - You did it, Mia! Jake exclaimed. - We knew you could, said Lily. Mia hugged her friends tightly. She felt proud and happy. From that day on, Mia knew that with courage, she could face any problem.
