Sally the Giant Ground Sloth's Adventure

Courage Watercolor style

Sally, a playful young giant ground sloth, finds herself lost in the vast, wild world of the Pleistocene era. As she navigates through unexpected obstacles, she learns the true meaning of courage with the help of a wise short-faced bear.

Sally the Giant Ground Sloth loved to play in the grassy fields of her home. One sunny morning, Sally decided to explore further than ever before. As she climbed trees and swung from branches, she felt more playful than ever. But soon, Sally realized she was lost. She couldn't see any familiar landmarks. She felt a flutter of worry in her big, furry heart.

Sally tried to find her way back, but the forest was thick and confusing. Each tree looked the same to her. As she wandered, she stumbled upon a wide, rushing river. Sally had never crossed such a river before. " - How will I get across?" Sally wondered aloud.

Sally decided to follow the river, hoping it would lead her home. But soon, she encountered a steep, rocky hill. The rocks were slippery and difficult to climb. " - I can't do this," Sally sighed, feeling her courage slip away. Her paws ached from trying.

Feeling defeated, Sally sat down and considered giving up. She missed her home and her friends deeply. " - Maybe I'll never find my way back," she thought sadly. Just then, a gentle voice spoke up. " - Don't give up, little one," said a wise short-faced bear that appeared nearby.

The wise bear shared a story about the stars and the river's flow. " - Follow the North Star," he advised. " - It will guide you home." Sally felt hope blooming inside her. She thanked the bear and decided to try again, this time with a new plan.

Sally followed the North Star and the river's gentle flow. As dawn broke, she saw familiar trees and fields. Her heart soared as she recognized her home. " - I did it!" Sally cheered, rushing back to her friends. She realized that courage meant trying again, even when things seemed hard.
