Sienna loved helping her mom Kathleen at the farmer's market. Today was a special day. They had a big basket of shiny red apples to sell. But, oh no! People weren't stopping at their stall. Sienna felt worried. They had to sell the apples to help the family.
Sienna tried calling out to the people walking by. " - Apples here! Yummy apples!" she said. But everyone seemed too busy. Her mom smiled, " - Keep trying, sweetheart." Sienna didn't want to give up. But what could she do?
Sienna noticed a big, friendly dog walking by. She thought, " - Maybe if I pet the dog, people will come over." But when she reached out, the dog ran away. Sienna's face fell. " - Oh no, it didn't work," she sighed. Kathleen gave her a hug.
Sienna felt like crying. " - We can't sell any apples, Mom," she said sadly. " - Maybe we should go home." Kathleen knelt down, " - It's okay to feel sad, Sienna. Let's think of another way." Sienna took a deep breath. She didn't want to give up yet.
Then Sienna had an idea. " - What if we give a taste to everyone?" she suggested. Kathleen's eyes lit up. " - That's a great idea!" Together, they cut up apples and offered free samples. Slowly, people started to stop by. " - These are delicious!" they said.
Soon, their apples were flying off the table! Sienna felt proud. " - We did it, Mom!" she cheered. Kathleen hugged her tightly. " - You were so helpful, Sienna," she said. Sienna learned that sharing and helping could solve any problem.
