Join Buller, an 8-year-old boy from Copenhagen, on an adventurous quest to help a dragon remember how to fly. With curiosity and wisdom, Buller faces various challenges in the springtime woods of Denmark. Will he be able to solve the mystery and help the dragon soar again?
It was a warm spring afternoon in Copenhagen, and Buller was exploring the woods with his magical white stone. Suddenly, he heard a noise—a sound of huge flaps. Curious, he followed the sound and discovered a dragon with vibrant green scales, looking sad.
The dragon looked at Buller with teary eyes. "I can't fly anymore," the dragon said. Buller's curiosity was piqued. "Why can't you fly?" he asked. The dragon sighed, "I forgot how."
Buller wanted to help. "I'll help you remember how to fly," he said confidently. But he didn't know where to start. "Maybe we can find some clues in the forest," Buller suggested. The dragon nodded in agreement.
They walked deeper into the woods, searching for clues. Suddenly, they came across a tall tree with a nest at the top. "Maybe the birds can help us," Buller said. "But how do we reach them?" the dragon wondered.
"I'll climb the tree," Buller decided. He carefully climbed up and reached the nest. "Excuse me, birds, can you help us?" he asked. The birds chirped, "The wind helps us fly. Find the Wind Wizard."
Buller and the dragon set off to find the Wind Wizard. They soon reached a river that was too wide to cross. "How will we get across?" Buller asked. The dragon sighed, "I wish I could fly."
Buller spotted a beaver nearby. "Excuse me, can you help us cross the river?" he asked. The beaver nodded and built a sturdy bridge. "Thank you!" Buller said, as they crossed the river.
On the other side, they found a field of tall flowers blocking their path. "We'll never get through this," the dragon said. Buller was determined. "Let's find a way together," he encouraged.
They pushed through the flowers, but it was tough. "I don't think we can do this," the dragon said. Buller felt tired but didn't give up. "We must keep going," he insisted.
Finally, they reached the other side of the field, exhausted. "We did it!" Buller cheered. The dragon smiled a little. But they still hadn't found the Wind Wizard. "Where to next?" the dragon asked.
Buller was starting to lose hope. "Maybe we should give up," he said. The dragon looked sad. "I don't want to give up," the dragon whispered. "I want to fly again."
As they rested, an old owl flew down. "Why do you look so sad?" the owl asked. Buller explained their problem. The owl nodded wisely. "Seek the wisdom within you," it advised.
Buller thought hard. "The owl is right. We need wisdom," he said. He took out his magical white stone. "Grandfather always said this stone helps creatures." The dragon looked hopeful.
Buller placed the stone on the dragon's head. "Think about flying," he instructed. The dragon closed its eyes and imagined soaring through the sky. Slowly, it started to feel lighter.
The dragon opened its eyes and flapped its wings. It rose a few feet off the ground. "I'm flying!" the dragon exclaimed. Buller cheered, "You did it!"
The dragon soared higher, circling the sky. "Thank you, Buller," it said. "You helped me remember how to fly." Buller smiled. "We did it together," he replied. They both felt wiser.
