In the heart of Egypt, the young Sphinx had a very important job. Its purpose was to learn how to mummify, but something was missing. The sacred scrolls with the steps to mummification had vanished! Without these scrolls, the secrets of their ancestors might be lost forever.
The Sphinx set off to find the scrolls. But first, it faced a giant sandstorm blocking the way. The wind howled and the sands danced fiercely in the air.
After the sandstorm, the Sphinx found itself at the edge of a vast river. There was no bridge, only a small boat bobbing on the waves. It was too small for the Sphinx to cross safely.
The Sphinx felt sad and thought about giving up. It sat by the river, its head hanging low. - What if I never find the scrolls? it whispered to the rippling water.
Just then, an ancient crocodile approached. - You must look within, it said wisely. Suddenly, the Sphinx understood. It had to trust its heart and ancient instincts to find the way.
With renewed courage, the Sphinx used its instincts and found a hidden path. There, it discovered the lost scrolls tucked under a sacred stone. The Sphinx felt proud and wise, ready to fulfill its purpose.
