Sam was playing in his room when he noticed his favorite toy elephant, Ellie, was missing. Without Ellie, Sam felt lonely and sad. " - Where could Ellie be?" Sam wondered as he searched under his bed. His heart sank when he realized Ellie was gone. " - I must find Ellie," Sam decided, determined to find his dear friend.
Sam gathered his courage and set off to find Ellie. His first stop was the backyard, where he often played. " - Maybe Ellie is hiding in the sandbox," Sam thought. But when he reached the sandbox, it was empty. " - Oh no, where else could Ellie be?" Sam sighed. He felt a little discouraged but refused to give up.
Sam ventured into the living room, hoping to find Ellie there. " - Perhaps Ellie is hiding behind the couch," Sam said to himself. But when he peeked behind the couch, he found nothing but dust bunnies. " - This is harder than I thought," Sam admitted. Feeling frustrated, he sat down, wondering what to do next.
After searching everywhere, Sam sat on the porch, feeling defeated. " - Maybe Ellie is gone forever," Sam whispered sadly. He felt tears welling up in his eyes. " - I miss you, Ellie," he said softly. Just as he was about to give up, his imagination sparked an idea.
