Tom's First Birthday
Tom is turning one and he's excited about his birthday party. But Tom has a big problem: he doesn't want to go to kindergarten and he's worried this might ruin his birthday plans. Will Tom find the wisdom to solve his problem and enjoy his special day?
Tom's birthday is today! Everyone is excited. But Tom is worried. " - I don't want to go to kindergarten," Tom says. Tom thinks his birthday will be ruined if he has to go.
Tom's mom tries to cheer him up. " - Let's have cake first," she says. Tom shakes his head, " - I want to play with my toys!" But the toys aren't there. They're at kindergarten!
Tom's favorite toy is missing. " - Where is Teddy?" Tom wonders. At kindergarten, of course! He feels a big lump in his throat. " - Oh no, what do I do?" Tom asks.
Tom doesn't know what to do. " - I can't have fun without Teddy," he sighs. He thinks about giving up and staying home. " - Maybe no party," Tom says softly.
Then, Grandpa comes to visit. " - Tom, let's go find Teddy together," Grandpa says. Tom feels hopeful again. " - Really?" Tom asks. Grandpa smiles, " - Yes, let's go!"
Tom and Grandpa find Teddy at kindergarten. " - Teddy!" Tom cheers, hugging his toy. Now, Tom is happy and ready for his party. " - Let's celebrate!" he giggles.
