Um Inverno Diferente

Courage Pixar style

In a snowy winter, young Lucas must find the courage to help his sister Liz overcome her fear of thunder and lightning.

It was a freezing winter, and Lucas and his sister Liz were stuck inside their cozy room. Outside, snowflakes danced and thunder rumbled in the sky. Liz shivered with fear whenever the thunder boomed. Lucas knew he needed to help his sister feel brave. But how could he make her stop being scared of the storm?

Lucas tried telling Liz a funny story to distract her from the storm, but the thunder roared even louder. Liz covered her ears and whimpered. Lucas felt a bit helpless. - It's okay, Liz, I'll protect you, Lucas said bravely. But Liz still looked worried, and Lucas knew he had to try harder.

Lucas decided to read from his special book, hoping it would help. But the wind howled, making the branches outside look like scary monsters. - Are you sure it's safe, Lucas? Liz asked, her voice shaky. Lucas nodded, but inside he felt unsure. He needed to find a way to make Liz feel safe.

After several attempts, Lucas felt like giving up. - Maybe I can't help, he sighed, feeling defeated. Liz looked at him with wide eyes. Lucas hated seeing his sister so scared. He thought about all the stories of courage he had read in his book. Maybe he needed to find that same courage now.

Suddenly, Lucas remembered a story about a brave knight who faced his fears. - Liz, let’s be brave like the knight in my story! he exclaimed excitedly. Liz hesitated, but Lucas held her hand tightly. They decided to pretend they were knights on an adventure, ready to face the storm together.

With newfound courage, Lucas and Liz faced the storm, imagining they were on a grand adventure. - We can do this, Lucas! Liz giggled, feeling less afraid. The storm continued, but their laughter filled the room. They realized that being brave together made all the difference.
