Zara

Tolerance

In the bustling city of Bangalore, young Zara faces the challenge of balancing her responsibilities toward her siblings and her own desires. Follow Zara as she learns about tolerance and the importance of understanding each other.

In the vibrant city of Bangalore, an 8-year-old girl named Zara lived with her younger siblings, Riya and Aarav. Zara loved her siblings dearly but often felt overwhelmed by the responsibility of taking care of them. One day, their parents were called away for an emergency, leaving Zara in charge. As the day progressed, Zara found it increasingly difficult to manage her siblings, who were arguing non-stop.

Riya wanted to play with her dolls, while Aarav insisted on building a tower with his blocks. Zara tried to mediate, but they wouldn't listen. Zara's patience was wearing thin. She shouted, ' - Why can't you both just get along?' Riya and Aarav looked at her with wide eyes, feeling hurt and surprised by Zara's sudden outburst.

Zara decided to separate them to avoid more arguments. She sent Riya to the bedroom and Aarav to the living room. However, this only made things worse. Riya cried, ' - I miss Aarav!' Aarav shouted from the other room, ' - I want to play with Riya!' Zara felt like she was failing as a big sister.

Feeling overwhelmed, Zara sat down and buried her face in her hands. ' - Maybe I can't do this,' she whispered to herself. Just then, she remembered a story her grandmother once told her about patience and understanding. Zara took a deep breath and decided to try a different approach.

Zara gathered Riya and Aarav and sat them down. ' - I know you both want to do different things, but we need to understand each other,' Zara said gently. Riya and Aarav listened quietly. Zara suggested, ' - How about we play together for a bit, and then we can take turns doing what each of you wants?' Riya and Aarav nodded, agreeing to give it a try.

The three siblings started playing a game that combined both dolls and blocks. They laughed and had fun, taking turns and understanding each other's needs. Zara felt proud of herself for finding a solution that made everyone happy. As the day ended, Zara realized the importance of patience and tolerance. ' - We did it together,' she said with a smile.
