Zara Learning

Zara the baby had a shiny red ball. She loved to play with it all day long. One day, her ball was missing! Zara looked everywhere, but she couldn't find it. The missing ball made her very sad. Zara wanted to find it so badly.

Zara decided to ask her teddy bear about the ball. - Have you seen my ball, Teddy? Zara asked. But Teddy just sat there quietly. Zara looked under her crib, but the ball wasn't there. She wondered if someone had taken it.

Zara crawled to the toy box. It was heavy and hard to open. - Maybe it's hiding in here! Zara thought. But when she opened the box, the ball was not inside. Zara felt a bit frustrated.

Next, Zara checked the kitchen. She peeked under the table. - Could it be here? she wondered. But all she saw were some shiny pots and pans. The ball was still missing.

Zara even asked the family cat. - Kitty, have you seen my ball? But the cat just purred and walked away. Zara felt very alone in her search. She wished someone would help her.

Zara's big brother came into the room. - What are you looking for, Zara? he asked. - My red ball, Zara replied with tears in her eyes. Her brother decided to help her search. Together, they looked high and low.

Zara and her brother checked the backyard. They looked under the swing. - It's not here, Zara sighed. The search was getting harder and harder. Zara nearly gave up.

Zara sat on the grass, feeling sad. - I can't find it, she said softly. She thought about giving up. But she remembered how much she loved her ball. Zara decided to keep trying.

Zara's brother had an idea. - Let's ask Mom for help, he suggested. Mom listened to Zara's story. - Did you look in the laundry basket? Mom asked. Zara nodded, but she hadn't checked there yet.

Zara crawled to the laundry basket. She peeked inside and saw something red. - I found it! she cheered. Her ball was hiding under the clothes. Zara was so happy to have her ball back.
