Gurjeet was a curious little girl who loved adventures. One night, she snuck out of bed and climbed through her window. She wanted to explore the world outside, but she slipped and fell into the Indus River! The river was fast and scary. Now, she had to find a way back home.

As Gurjeet splashed in the water, a big crocodile swam towards her. She was scared but tried to be brave. - Oh no, what do I do now? Gurjeet thought. The crocodile opened its big mouth, but Gurjeet had an idea. She poked it with a stick she found floating by.

Gurjeet's stick saved her, but now she faced a bigger obstacle. A shark was swimming nearby, looking very hungry. - This is not good! Gurjeet said to herself. She felt scared again but remembered to stay courageous. Gurjeet reached for a sharp shell to protect herself.

The shark circled Gurjeet, making her heart race. Gurjeet knew she had to be smart. - Please go away, she whispered bravely. Then, she used the shell to scare the shark. It worked for a moment, but the shark didn't leave for long.

Gurjeet was getting tired and thought about giving up. - I can't do this, she said, feeling sad. The river was so big and full of scary creatures. She missed her home and her family. Gurjeet floated for a while, feeling unsure of what to do.

Just when Gurjeet felt she couldn't go on, a friendly dolphin appeared! - Don't worry, little one, I'll help you, said the dolphin kindly. Gurjeet felt hope again. The dolphin was strong and happy, and it promised to take her home.

The dolphin swam quickly, carrying Gurjeet safely on its back. They laughed and played as they traveled through the river. - Thank you, dolphin! Gurjeet exclaimed joyfully. Gurjeet felt safe and happy again, knowing she had a new friend.

Finally, they reached the riverbank near Gurjeet's home. Her father was there, looking worried. But when he saw the dolphin, he thought it was dangerous. - Stay away from my daughter! he shouted, raising a stick.

Gurjeet quickly jumped off the dolphin and ran to her father. - No, Daddy! She said. The dolphin helped me! Gurjeet hugged her father, explaining how the dolphin saved her. Her father listened and put the stick down, feeling relieved.

Gurjeet's father thanked the dolphin with a big fish. - Thank you for saving my daughter, he said. The dolphin smiled and waved its fin. Gurjeet and her father waved goodbye as the dolphin swam away. Gurjeet learned that courage can bring friendship and happiness.
