The train chugged along with a "choo-choo-boing," but Rupert was worried. How could they reach Nonsense Town if they were going to Silly Town instead? " - We have to find a way," Rupert said to Andy. " - We can't just end up in Silly Town!" They both decided to talk to the Conductor again. They needed to make sure he understood.
The Conductor was juggling rubber chickens when they approached him. " - Excuse me, Mr. Conductor," Andy said, " - are you sure it's Tuesday?" The Conductor smiled, unaware of his mistake. " - It's definitely Tuesday!" he replied. Rupert sighed. How could they convince him otherwise? They needed a new plan.
Rupert felt discouraged. Maybe they'd never get to Nonsense Town. " - Maybe we should just give up," he said sadly. Andy shook her head. " - No, Rupert, we can't give up!" But Rupert felt it was no use. What if they were stuck in Silly Town forever?
Just then, a wise old owl appeared, perched on the train seat. " - Why so gloomy?" asked the owl. " - It's not Tuesday, it's Friday!" Rupert's eyes lit up. " - See, Andy? We were right!" The owl winked. " - All you need is to show the Conductor what day it really is!"
