Tea Party Bandit

Wisdom Watercolor style

Myra and her friend are having a fancy tea party in Paris when a mischievous squirrel spoils their fun by stealing scones and knocking over the tea. Myra must find a way to outsmart the squirrel and save the day.

Myra and her best friend Sophie were having a fancy tea party in Myra's backyard in Paris. They had dressed in their finest clothes and jewelry. Just as they were about to enjoy some scones, a squirrel darted in, grabbed a scone, and knocked over the tea! The girls were shocked and upset. They decided they had to get their scones and tea back.

Myra and Sophie quickly chased after the squirrel, but it was too fast. The squirrel scurried up a tall tree and sat on a branch, munching on the scone. Myra felt her heart sink. How would they ever get the scone back now? Sophie tried to climb the tree but slipped and fell.

Myra thought of using a stick to poke the squirrel, but it just made the squirrel run higher. Sophie suggested throwing a ball to scare it away, but they missed. Myra felt like crying. Everything seemed hopeless. They had tried everything they could think of, but nothing worked.

Myra sat down and almost gave up. She felt so sad and defeated. Tears welled up in her eyes. Sophie sat beside her and patted her back. It seemed like the tea party was ruined forever.

Just then, an old woman walking by saw the girls and their problem. She introduced herself as Madame Claire and shared a wise idea. - Why don't you offer the squirrel a trade? she suggested. Myra and Sophie looked at each other, realizing they hadn't thought of that.

Myra and Sophie gathered some nuts and placed them on a plate. - Here, squirrel, come down, Myra called. The squirrel sniffed the air, climbed down, and traded the scone for the nuts. - We did it! Sophie cheered. The girls finally sat down to enjoy their tea party, feeling wiser and happier.
